regenerations quote

doctor: eleven, amy pond
There was an RTD quote from an interview, or a panel, or a commentary, or a confidential, or that book. It was along the lines of:

'There were so many times when I almost put in a line saying "Thank goodness we all got 200 extra regenerations to fight in the Time War."'

I would like the exact quote. Does anyone know where this is from? Anything to narrow it down would help. Google gives me lots of Rassilon and Master stuff with "for the time war" and lots of spoilers for about anything else I can think of to try.

The quote is at least as old as 2009. (I found someone else referencing it in December.)

edit from the distant future: I found the quote here. It's apparently from DWM 415.

I'm not sure. It's possible that it comes from The Writer's Tale, the book that was released as the RTD/Ten era was winding down, if it came up as early as December.

You're probably right. The thing about books I don't have, other than not having them, is the lack of a search feature. I guess I'll go ask at doctorwho, then. Someone there probably bought the book.

A library might have it. I know my local libraries have started to get a lot of new!Who and Torchwood books in stock (infact I have to pick up a few holds of new Who either later today or tomorrow), so maybe do a quick search at the library for it?

I checked. The county library has suddenly stopped accepting searches or something, and the city doesn't have it.

I went to a scifi convention in the area and baffled a room full of people by talking about "The Fourth Doctor, the one with the scarf." I wouldn't count on people here to ask for good books.

Where do you live? I want to move there and use your libraries.

Maybe an inter - library loan?

Along the east coast of Virginia. My local libraries have a whole host of Ten books from all companion eras (Rose, Martha and Donna), as well as a few of the Gwen/Jack/Ianto TW era books. I haven't checked yet to see if they have Eleven era in yet. The only downside is that they don't have Nine era books. But that's what the suggestion box is for. :-)
